The July, 2017 New York Times Business Best Sellers List – Outliers, from 2008, is at #2

The New York Times list of Business Books Best Sellers is out for July, 2017. Not much new on this list; meaning, some of the best selling business books are not-so-recently-published books.

Outliers, still a best-seller

Outliers, still a best-seller

For example, the #2 best seller is Outliers, which was published nearly a decade ago, in 2008. Why is it still selling so well? It is a terrific book! But it also means that people are buying some “older” books instead of some newer books. Interesting.

And, from this month’s list, Karl Krayer and I have presented synopses of 7 of the 10. Here are the books from this month’s list that we have presented at the First Friday Book Synopsis in Dallas, with the month/year we presented our synopses.
