Trillion Dollar Coach; and Building a StoryBrand – Our two selections for the June 7 First Friday Book Synopsis

Everybody needs a coach, SchmidtATTENTION COACHES: You might want to attend this June 7 session to hear my synopsis of Trillion Dollar Coach. You might even want to bring a client or two, or a potential client or two, with you.

We had a wonderful session this morning at the May First Friday Book Synopsis. I presented two synopsesLoonshots: How to Nurture the Crazy Ideas That Win Wars, Cure Diseases, and Transform Industries by Safi Bahcall, and Nine Lies About Work: A Freethinking Leader’s Guide to the Real World by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall.

Those synopses, with my comprehensive, multi-page handout for each, along with the audio recording of my presentations, will be available for purchase soon at this web site.  You can always search by title on our “Buy Synopses” tab at the top of this page, or click here for our newest additions.

For our June 7 session, I will present synopses of two more good books. Building a StoryBrand is a master class in focusing on your customer’s journey as you build your brand, and market your offerings.  The other is a book that was just published, and jumped straight to the New York Times list of best selling business books.  Here are the two books; Trillion Dollar Coach: The Leadership Playbook of Silicon Valley’s Bill Campbell by Eric Schmidt, Jonathan Rosenberg, Alan Eagle. HarperBusiness (2019). And, Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen by Donald Miller. HarperCollins Leadership (2017).

If you will be in the Dallas area on June 7, come join us.  You will be able to register soon for our June 7 event from the home page of this web site.  And here is the flier with the details.
